Stage 2 of Tour du Rwanda has gone to Eritrea and its team also took the best performing of the day.
Merhawi Kudus, 24, of Pro Astana Team emerged winner from the Kigali-Huye 12.5km route. His win is particularly significant because he is only returning to Tour du Rwanda after 6years of absence.

The Eritrean’s win keeps the yellow Jersey with foreign cyclists as Italian Alessandro Fedeli dominated the opening stage One yesterday.
Team Rwanda’s 12 teams are yet to show their abilities, but are coming among the top 20 cyclists.
