The two leaders meeting at State House Entebbe, Uganda

DR Congo President Felix Tshisekedi was in Uganda on Friday evening where he met President Yoweri Museveni at Entebbe State House.

“We discussed trade, regional security and other areas of bilateral interest to Uganda and the DR Congo,” said a post on Museveni’s Twitter account, that is managed by his staff.

It is unclear how much time the two leaders spent together in that March 22 unannounced visit. No other details are available.

President Tshisekedi is due in Rwanda on Monday March 25 for two-day visit.

In addition to meeting President Kagame, he will also speak at the CEO Africa Forum, a gathering of top business leaders.

Tshisekedi will be meeting President Kagame for the second time in less than two months. The first session was in February on the sidelines of the AU Summit in Ethiopia.
