Renowned Gospel singer and evangelist Pastor Wilson Bugembe will be in Kigali this Sunday May 12, 2019 for a major concert and indication from his social media posts show he is coming to Rwanda for the very first time.

Organised by ‘Kingdom of God Ministries’, a Rwandan gospel group, Pastor Bugembe will be here for what has been dubbed as “Victorious Album Launch”.

Pastor Bugembe’s concert will be in the famous Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village.

He is a popular voice in Uganda and the region with several hits including Njagala Kumanya, Bilibabitya, Lengera Embaata, and Yellow.

The gates will be open from 4pm, and the entrance fee for early arrivals is Rwf 5,000 for ordinary ticket, Rwf 10,000 VIP ticket and Rwf 20,000 from which you will have single-person VVIP table.

As for those who will not be able to buy the tickets early, there will be an additional Rwf 2,000 for all tickets for you to get it at the gate, except the VVIP ones.

As regards ongoing concerns why gospel goers have to pay for concerts when they could be free since it is Godly work, the organizers say they are spending nearly Rwf 2million to pay for the venue alone. When all costs are put together, the concert will consume more than Rwf 8m.

“Sometimes people are like ‘You beloved Christians why are you selling the Gospel of God?’…” said Bienfaiteur Uremyeneze, the General Secretary of Kingdom of God Ministries. “I feel like crying when I am asked this question without considering the financial hardships we endure to organize such a concert.”

Uremyeneza’s father has been one of the skeptics, questioning how Uremyeneza – an unemployed fresh graduate is organizing a concert worth Rwf 8 million yet the same son has not been able supported the father.

Kingdom of God Ministries will be launching their 10 songs Album titled “Victorious”. Other gospel teams scheduled include Alarm Ministries, Healing Worship Team as well as the Groove Awards Rwanda winners Bosco Nshuti, and Arsene Tuyi.

The new convert Liza Kamikazi who has joined gospel music recently after being baptized in New Life Bible Church is expected to perform with her new gospel hits.

Kingdom of God Ministries has extended a plea to all gospel music lovers who will be in Kigali this Sunday to attend as a way of supporting them, and supporting the spread of Holly Gospel.
