Kigali Man “Discovers” his Wife for Nearly 2yrs is a MAN

There is shock and disbelief in Nyamirambo, a suburb of Kigali that never sleeps, after local residents watched a person they knew as a woman called “Dada”, actually turned out to be a man.

Before the entire neighborhood, Dada was forced to undress down to pair of shorts and a bra which was used to conceal packages of stockings around the chest made to look like female breasts.

Dada had been living happily with Iradukunda Jean Claude as husband and wife. Dada went to the market with other women. Dada cooked meals for husband. Dada was also ALWAYS completely covered as a Muslim woman, blending perfectly in Nyamirambo – home for the Muslim community in Kigali.

Neighbors also narrative that every Friday, sometimes during the weekdays, Dada donned her best, not missing a handbag as they went for prayers like every other family in the area.

Hell broke loose on Sunday January 12. According to Imanizabayo Emerence, the landlord of the houses where the couple have lived for past 7 months, Dada contacted him to come help settle a marital dispute.

However, when the landlord came home, husband Iradukunda was bitterly complaining that “his wife” was not giving him full conjugal rights. The husband also ranted that ever since they started living together in October 2018, he has never seen his wife naked.

And then, as narrated by landlord Imanizabayo, the husband made the shocking accusation; that he believes his wife is not a woman. Family members who live in same neighborhood were also called to the couple’s home.

Before the couple, the landlord narrates that he and Iradukunda’s family asked Dada to show them breasts to prove he was a woman. Dada refused.

The family and landlord decided to report the case immediately on that Sunday evening to the cell office. Dada was taken there, and could not avail any ID to identify herself. Local officials say they began suspecting this person could be a agent of FDLR Rwandan rebels based in DR Congo.

Dada however had only a health insurance card which had names of a man. At this point, local officials forced Dada into a room where women who were present would stand with her to remove all her clothes. Within seconds, loud noise was coming from the room, of people gasping in disbelief as Dada had a penis.

Dada was kept at the cell until the next day when the new person was paraded before the neighborhood. Before the community, he was made to remove the woman’s clothing and headscarf, but had trousers and jacket – which was done deliberately because it would have been inappropriate to undress in public in presence of children.

Dada’s masculine face was displayed for first time to onlookers. There were screams from those watching.

According to preliminary information available so far, this person has been identified by a single name “Innocent”. The name Dada, was the one that the local neighborhood had been given by the couple.

Details are still being pieced together as to the full identity of the couple and what the “husband” did for a living. Dada has been arrested as officials conduct investigation about him, but Iradukunda remains free but reports to the authorities.

So how did Iradukunda Jean Claude meet up with Dada? He has been giving few details, except saying they met in October 2018. He doesn’t say where exactly and how?

Iradukunda says the first night together, Dada switched off light in the room and did not allow him to touch the “breasts”. The next days Iradukunda says he asked to take shower together and Dada refused, and never accepted again.

“I cannot explain how we had sex, but I penetrated somewhere and would suddenly find myself ejaculating. It always felt so good,” claims Iradukunda.

“Am very convinced this is not a human being. He is a jini,” says Iradukunda, in reference to Kiswahili name for sophisticated ghosts said to come from Mombasa, Kenya. There are countless tales about these ghosts.

According to women who usually had conversations with Dada as neighbors do, Dada had revealed she was pregnant due to give birth this month of January and had been acting exactly as expectant women.

Dada had cravings and was constantly spitting like all pregnant woman, said one woman at the scene when Dada was paraded earlier this week.

However, many neighbors and on social media, following the discovery of this couple, are saying the two are gay but are scared to come out for fear of the societal backlash.
